Making Tax Digital – Update

HM Revenue and Customs have been sending some businesses and sole traders a letter about signing up to Making Tax Digital that is not relevant to them. This letter is only relevant to businesses and sole traders that have a turnover over £85,000. If you receive one of these letters (example shown below) and you are not VAT registered or if you are voluntarily registered (i.e. you are registered but your turnover is under the current £85,000 threashold) then please contact us and you may not need to sign up to Making Tax Digital.
