What we do here at Phillips Frith – counting beans
and a whole lot more!
We don’t mind admitting that, as a firm of chartered accountants and registered auditors, counting beans is a big part of what we do. But in addition to this very important job, there is of course much more to the services we provide for our clients here at Phillips Frith.
Below is a summary of what we do. We will tailor a service package
that is right for you and your business:
We really do take the time to get to know you and your business. Much of our time here at Phillips Frith is spent talking to (and more importantly, listening to) our clients and finding out about their business, plans for future growth and their personal goals for the long term. This time spent with our clients at their premises and at our offices, is vital to help us understand how we can best advise you on all aspects of your accounts.
Payroll Bureau Service
Our Payroll Bureau Service takes away all the hassle involved in paying your staff. We calculate your payroll for you on a weekly or monthly basis as required, prepare pay slips for your staff and send your PAYE remittances to the Inland Revenue. We can complete the payroll here at our offices or, if you prefer, we can work at your own premises and process transactions within your own system.
Bookkeeping Services & VAT
We can take on many of your routine record keeping tasks, freeing you up to focus on your business. We can keep all your accounting records for you and produce monthly management accounts. Or, if you prefer, we can simply keep your VAT records for you and complete your VAT returns. We are also on hand if you are selected for a HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) compliance visit and can deal with them on your behalf.
Whether its tax returns, corporation tax or any other form of business or personal taxation, getting it right and planning ahead for those tax demands from HMRC is vital. But with Phillips Frith, you can relax in the knowledge that we are taking care of your interests. As well as preparing your tax returns, we’ll help you with tax planning and do everything we can to provide you with up to date and proactive advice.
As Registered Auditors, we carry out statutory and non-statutory audits and provide special purpose reports for all kinds of business, charities and other not-for profit organisations. Quite often, we identify improvements that could be made to your systems, or controls and make practical recommendations. Of course it goes without saying, our auditing team is always tactful and totally discreet. You can rely on us for audits that will be carried out efficiently and to the very highest standards.
